1 can pumpkin
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup heavy cream
1 cup orange juice
4 bottles sparkling apple juice
orange sherbet
cinnamon sticks
Mix pumpkin, sugar, cream and orange juice in a medium pan. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and allow to cool. In large punch bowl combine sauce with chilled sparkling apple juice and softened sherbet. Serve with cinnamon sticks, if desired.
