1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 can green chilies
1/4 cup onion
1 tsp garlic powder or 4 tsp minced
1 whole jalapeno, seeded-add seeds for spice
1 bunch cilantro
1 tsp. salt (or more to taste)
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cumin
Squeeze of lime
Combine onion, jalapeno, and cilantro in 8+ cup food processor until chopped fine. Add tomatoes and seasonings and pulse till desired consistency. (I like to leave small chunks of tomatoes.) Best if served after refrigerated for at least 1 hour.
